OVERVIEW

The BGRS Traction Bracket for 2013+ FRS/BRZ/86 and 2022+ GR86 addresses inherent chassis compromises stemming from Subaru having re-purposed components originally designed for the WRX STi. 

The suspension design of AWD applications utilize more anti squat than what is desirable in RWD applications. This causes the AWD derived suspension geometry found in the 86 & BRZ to be overly harsh and sensitive to throttle throttle imputes. 

The BGRS Traction Bracket adds two additional mounting points while still allowing the OEM location to be used, giving it three levels of anti squat. Our testing shows that reducing anti-squat improves both ride comfort and rear traction. Ideal for enthusiasts seeking balanced performance and daily drivability. 

The BGRS Traction Bracket is crafted from all-steel construction for exceptional durability and fatigue resistance. Its OEM-quality e-coating ensures superior corrosion protection for long-lasting performance.

Adjusting bracket position results in minimal rear toe change. We found adjustments to alignment was not required when changing bracket settings during our on-track testing. Its recommended that you align the car to the top hole on the bracket for track use.

Note:  Through testing we have found that the rear grip increase is dramatic enough that handling balance will be effected. The increased rear grip will translate into more understeer bias. You may wish to couple this bracket with a softer front sway bar setting, optimized front wheel camber, or possibly a stiffer rear sway bar option. Increasing rear sway bar size will take away some of the newly added grip, but this puts less load on the front tires thereby increasing the limits of the front end ultimately resulting in a faster car.
