Much like other bushings, the differential's cradle bushings will also wear out after about 5-7 years (depending on driving conditions and mileage). At which point they'll produce noises and vibrations when driving, and in the case of the cradle bushing, it can affect your vehicle's driveline efficiency.

Whiteline's cradle bushings are made from synthetic elastomer, providing better strength and durability than OE rubber bushings. Additionally, they help to ensure pinion angles are maintained to deliver an improved gear shift resulting in reduced initial torque loss and greater power transfer to the wheels.

The driveline effects felt may be minimal, but synthetic elastomer bushings are generally recommended to restore driving comfort and ensure durability. Making sure your 86/FR-S/BRZ's differential remains firmly attached to the chassis. And in any case, it's a good idea to replace worn-out bushings before they break completely.
