OVERVIEW

Start an AE86 build on straight, rust-free metal with this new reproduction steel body shell from Show Me Classic Parts. It is a 3-door Trueno hatchback shell in the style of the 1984-1987 Toyota Corolla AE86, finished in red (Toyota paint code 3E6) and delivered on a steel rolling frame. Original AE86 shells are getting harder to find without rust, collision damage or a bent chassis, and this shell gives restorers, drift builders and race teams a fresh starting point. It is designed to accept the drivetrain, suspension and parts from an existing AE86.

  • New Steel Body Shell – Brand-new reproduction unibody, free of the rust and fatigue found in 40-year-old shells.
  • Trueno Hatchback Style – 3-door hatchback body with the Trueno pop-up headlight front end.
  • Painted Red – Finished in Toyota paint code 3E6.
  • Panels Fitted – Hood, front fenders and doors are mounted on the shell, as pictured.
  • Rolling Frame – Delivered on a steel transport frame with casters for moving around the shop.
