OVERVIEW
The Racer X Fabrication oil cooler kit for the 2013-2020 Scion FR-S / Subaru BRZ / Toyota GT86 is designed to control engine oil temperatures under demanding track and aggressive street driving conditions. Excessive oil heat reduces engine horsepower and degrades oil viscosity, compromising critical engine lubrication.
Built around a high-efficiency Setrab 613 oil cooler core, this kit incorporates a black anodized thermostatic adapter plate preset to open at 185°F (85°C) to ensure rapid oil warm-up. Fluid is supplied via durable -10 AN nylon braided lines and precision fittings, while CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting brackets secure the core. Engineered for broad compatibility with stock and aftermarket intake systems.
