OVERVIEW
The Racer X Fabrication catch can for the 2013-2020 Scion FR-S / Subaru BRZ / Toyota GT86 is engineered to reduce oil vapor in the intake air stream exiting the PCV system. Functioning as a high-efficiency air-oil separator, it intercepts the air-oil mixture and utilizes internal multi-stage baffling to retain oil within the canister while allowing clean air to circulate freely.
As air enters the catch can, it is diverted around the central inlet tube to generate an initial swirling effect. Each internal baffle features an offset hole pattern and perforation plate specifically designed via CFD analysis and road testing to maximize oil separation without restricting airflow. For effortless maintenance, the system includes an integrated sight glass for quick fluid level checks and a stainless steel mini ball valve for fast draining.
