Utilizing a proprietary fiber material with strong thermal barrier properties, this gasket helps keep intake temperatures lower for more consistent engine performance. By minimizing heat soak, it supports improved air density entering the combustion chamber.

This gasket acts as a thermal barrier between the cylinder head and intake manifold, reducing heat transfer into the intake plenum. Controlled testing showed an average temperature deviation of 10°C between the intake plenum and cylinder head, with potential for greater differences depending on engine operation. By keeping the intake plenum cooler, the air entering the combustion chamber remains denser, which helps maintain consistent power output and reduces the effects of heat soak.
