OVERVIEW
The Crystal Body Yokahama (CBY) Tensioner improves the accuracy and reliability of your engine’s timing system by increasing the number of timing belt support points. By reducing runout and stabilizing belt alignment, it minimizes misalignment between the crank and camshaft.
Please note - Although this tensioner is an extremely nice piece, it does significantly alter the tension on the drive side of the belt, which will advance the cams several cam degrees. This means that your OEM markings on your camshaft pulleys may no longer line up with OEM markings. You can still time your engine with adjustable cam pulleys but this is a trade off with this tensioner that is not expected with the smaller and less aggressive MRP tensioner.
