Lithium-ion batteries are one of the most popular types of rechargeable batteries for portable electronics and household appliances; with high energy density, minimum memory effect and low self-discharge rate. The major differences between LFP batteries and ordinary lithium batteries are that LFP batteries do not have safety concerns such as overheating and explosion that they have 4 to 5 times longer cycle lifetimes than lithium batteries and 8 to 10 times higher discharge power.
