OVERVIEW

The King XP-Series pMaxKote Coated Rod Bearing Set (CR4616XPGC05) is engineered specifically for high-output FA20 (2.0L) and FA24 (2.4L) engines requiring a 0.50mm undersize fitment. Designed for engines with significantly re-ground crankshaft journals, this set restores structural oil clearance and oil film strength in heavy-duty and high-boost applications.

FEATURES

  • pMaxKote™ Polymer Coating: Factory-applied nano-composite ceramic layer provides extreme protection during temporary metal-to-metal contact and oil starvation.
  • 0.50mm Machinists Undersize: Sized specifically for crankshaft journals re-ground down by 0.50mm to restore correct oil clearances and journal geometry.
  • Cavitation & Seizure Resistance: Formulated to protect against high-RPM oil cavitation and journal scoring under extreme cylinder pressure.
  • pMax Black™ Tri-Metal Structure: High-load capacity hardened steel back with copper-lead intermediate layer and toughened overlay.
