The OEM oil pickup has two major flaws: the screen is creased where the retaining ring is crimped, and the spot weld process embrittles the screen. These weaknesses make it prone to wire strand failures under pressure. Killer B Motorsport resolved these issues by redesigning the pickup with stronger materials, TIG welding for optimal penetration, and a larger screen area to reduce stress and restriction. The straight, thicker tube eliminates OEM pinch bends, ensuring maximum flow and reliability under demanding conditions.
