OVERVIEW

The Gates Micro-V Serpentine Belt is a direct replacement for the factory accessory drive belt on the 2022+ GR86 and BRZ with the FA24 engine. It drives the alternator, A/C compressor and water pump through the tensioner and three idler pulleys. Cracked, glazed or stretched belts cause squealing, slipping and poor charging or A/C performance. Gates Micro-V belts match the OE size, construction and materials. Gates recommends replacing the tensioner along with the belt.
