OVERVIEW

The Eventuri Toyota GR86 / Subaru BRZ Black Carbon Intake System was specifically engineered for the naturally aspirated 2.4L FA24 boxer engine, developed through over 125 dyno runs on both stock and tuned test vehicles. Designed to solve the FA24’s high sensitivity to intake air temperatures, the system provides a fully sealed cold-air charge that yields measured gains of 10 to 14 horsepower and 10 to 11 ft-lb of torque while maintaining smooth, laminar airflow across the entire rev range.

By replacing the restrictive OEM intake path—which forces incoming air through two harsh 90-degree turns—Eventuri’s design utilizes a patented carbon fiber Venturi filter housing with a reverse-mounted cone filter. Air is supplied through a 100% pre-preg carbon dual-feed inlet duct that draws directly from both slam panel openings, supported by laser-cut front scoops behind the lower grille to force ambient air upward while the vehicle is in motion.

An expanding rubber seal mates the carbon duct to the filter housing, effectively locking out engine heat soak while allowing full compliance for natural engine movement. Featuring a CNC-machined MAF boss and laser-cut stainless steel brackets, the system installs seamlessly into factory mounting points without permanent vehicle modifications.
