OVERVIEW

The Eventuri Carbon Turbo Inlet Tube for the Toyota GR Yaris and GR Corolla is engineered to reduce restriction between the intake system and turbocharger, increasing available airflow volume while maintaining a smooth path into the compressor inlet. Designed specifically for the G16E-GTS platform, the enlarged carbon turbo tube improves turbo response, helps the engine achieve peak boost earlier in the RPM range, and supports measurable gains in both mid-range torque and peak power.

During development, Eventuri focused on increasing the internal air volume immediately ahead of the compressor housing while smoothing out the restrictive lower bend found in the factory unit. By increasing internal volume from ~1,300 cm³ to 2,200 cm³ (a nearly 70% increase), the turbocharger draws from a substantially larger air reservoir with lower wastegate duty cycle. Dyno testing demonstrates performance increases of up to +14 whp and +19 lb-ft of torque in the mid-range, with +9 whp and +9 lb-ft held through peak RPM.

Manufactured from rigid pre-preg carbon fiber, the main inlet tube resists deformation under heavy vacuum load. It connects via a bespoke nitrile elbow to a CNC-machined aluminum turbo flange. The flange features a modular design, allowing simple swaps to accommodate larger hybrid turbochargers in future builds without replacing the main carbon assembly.
