OEM bushings are typically made from rubber and have a tendency to wear out more quickly. When they do, handling won't be the same, and your suspension will start making noises. We're happy to offer you these control arm bushings replacement from Energy Suspension for the Toyota 86, Scion FR-S, and Subaru BRZ.

This particular control arm bushing kit comes in red for the front control arms. They're made from polyurethane which can withstand more cycles of stretching than OEM rubber bushings. These bushings are expected to last longer than OEM control arm bushings. Additionally, the increased strength can help to maintain proper wheel alignment for a longer period.

Going for aftermarket polyurethane bushings is almost always better than rubber OEM bushings. The main tradeoff you need to be aware of is comfort; polyurethane bushings are stiffer and will affect the comfort of your 86, FR-S, or BRZ. Not a big deal if you're building a track day toy, but this is something to consider for daily-driven builds.
