Eibach's Sportline lowering springs will drop the ride height of your 86, FR-S, or BRZ by 1.4 inches. Getting rid of that unsightly wheel gap and giving the car a more aggressive stance. This also lowers the center of gravity, which will reduce body roll during cornering and helps your tires to find traction, resulting in overall better handling performance and feel.

The Sportline springs have a linear spring rate, and it's stiff all around. Ride quality won't be as comfortable, but the stiffer springs will certainly make the car feel sharper in the corners. Daily-driven builds may be fine with this, although this depends on your tolerance. If you'd like more comfortable springs, the Eibach Pro-Kit will be better, although it will only lower the car by 1 inch.

We recommend a wheel alignment after installing the lowering springs, as the lowered ride height will result in camber changes (-0.75 camber for every inch dropped). You're unlikely to need a camber kit (typically 1.5-inch drop or more will start to need a camber kit), but a wheel alignment is still recommended. Note that the aggressive drop may shorten the lifespan of the factory dampers/shocks.
