Due to the oversized factory Toyota reverse lockout collar, shape selection determines your installation fitment:

• Short Teardrop & Chonk Shapes: Achieve a flush, OEM-style fitment directly out of the box without additional hardware.
• 
  All Other Knob Shapes (Sphere, Sledge, Lightbulb, Tall Teardrop): Sit slightly higher on the shifter stem. Adding an optional Billetworkz Reverse Lockout Adapter (12x1.25mm) bridges the gap between the base of the knob and the factory lockout lever for a clean, gap-free look.
