OVERVIEW

When lowering your BRZ, GR86, GT86, or FRS, the factory rear sway bar geometry is no longer ideal. This can lead to less predictable handling and a non-linear sway bar spring rate. The Ansix Auto Rear Sway Bar Geometry Correction Mounts reposition the sway bar for optimal alignment, improving suspension efficiency and control on lowered cars.

SCIENCE

In an ideal setup, the sway bar end links of a suspension should be perpendicular to the lower control arm. The end links should also be perpendicular to the sway bar arm. For the BRZ, GR86, GT86, and FRS, when you lower the car, this geometry becomes less than ideal. When that happens, the effective spring rate of the sway bar becomes less linear, which can cause the rear end to behave less predictably.
