It provides excellent bite even when cold, and has an operating temperature of up to 1,000ºF with a progressive brake feel. The pads are also heat-scorched to reduce bed-in time; a relatively low 200 miles, compared to the more typical 300 to 400 miles.

EBC recommends that you drive this on public roads and bed-in the pads first before participating in a track day. Drive under regular conditions for 200 miles, gradually increasing braking force as you approach that 200-mile mark. If you take this straight to the track after installing, keep an eye out for vibrations. If vibrations occur then you'll need to brake earlier and take it easy to prevent damage and further brake issues that may lead to an accident.
